Trophy Club

Before incorporation as a town in 1985, Trophy Club had its origins in 1973, when developers approached the Westlake council regarding the possibility of constructing a housing development center around a country club. Bed Hogan, one of the greatest golfers in the history of the sport, was commissioned to design the golf course, which was expanded in 1983 to a total of 27 holes. Trophy Club is savored by its resident community of avid cyclists, joggers, and those out for an evening stroll. The area offers some of the most complete tennis and golf facilities available anywhere. The communities of Colleyville, Grapevine, Keller, Southlake and Trophy Club lie in the tri-county triangle where Dallas, Denton, and Tarrant counties join. These communities are convenient to all three counties and to the Dallas/Fort Worth International airport. Most of these communities started as rural agricultural areas. Today, these communities, which retain their unique atmosphere, are a popular choice for professionals who want the convenience of a Mid-Cities location and the serenity of life in the country.
